The designer
Born into a multicultural family bridging Los Angeles and Budapest, Christina Magdolna Washington was enveloped in a rich blend of Hungarian and American cultures. Her father's profession as a Hollywood production designer and art director necessitated frequent travels, offering Christina a dynamic upbringing steeped in diverse cultural experiences.
Immersed in the world of film, where emotions and memories are meticulously crafted through light and color, Christina found inspiration for her own artistic journey.
Her training in fine art and sculpture laid the groundwork for her creative endeavors, shaping her passion for craftsmanship. Later, a transformative decade spent navigating the vibrant landscapes of Paris and Brussels allowed her to refine her skills in goldsmithing under the mentorship of a seasoned designer.
Drawing from her profound appreciation for both modern and ancient art seen in global museums, as well as cinema's evocative use of light and color, Christina Magdolna Jewelry emerged in 2018 as a tangible manifestation of her unique artistic vision.
